Emoji icons have become a standard feature in text-based communication, and can add clarity and variety to instructor comments. Use the emoji feature found in the text box when grading in SpeedGrader, or the Gradebook.
Use Emojis in SpeedGrader
Click the emoji feature within the Comments text box when grading submitted work in SpeedGrader.
Use Emojis in Gradebook
Open the Grade Detail Tray for a student, then use the emoji feature in the Comments text box.
