Canvas Commons
What Is Commons?
Commons is learning object repository created by Canvas users. Faculty can import shared learning resources into Canvas courses, and share their own content with others in the community.
Access Commons
You can use Commons to get ideas or models for your own content, and use shared materials to build your course. Commons includes filters to refine results to include courses, modules, assignments, quizzes, and more. Content is also searchable by topic and grade level.
Commons provides an opportunity for faculty to share some of their own educational resources with the Canvas community and Butte College colleagues.
Review the guides below to learn more about what Commons has to offer and how to use it, then explore and import content into your own courses!

NOTE: TMI recommends that faculty create a new course to use when first importing from Commons, as a way to fully examine and test the content before importing into a developed course.
